Creating an estimate for PWS:

1. When a customer wants an estimate gather the following information:
What school or district are you purchasing for? (If known)
How many licenses are needed and for what grade?
2. Login into Quickbooks
3. Click +New, Click Estimate
4. Take Note of the Estimate # at the top (you will need this for the notes section in Fresh Desk)
5. Add customer’s name (it is helpful to add the school district) and contact email
6. Remind the customer that each product is for one license= 1 teacher
7. Click in the products service table and add requested products-
If a customer wants more than one product - i.e. 2 level 2 bundles the second bundle is the discounted bundle price and the first bundle is always the full price
In order for the customer to receive the discount they must order 2 of the same product- (Discount would be granted on 2 kindergarten bundles, but not a level 1 and K bundle)
8. When you are finished adding products click save and send.
9. Within the notes section in FreshDesk note the estimate #.
10. Make a note to check in with the customer: asking if they received the estimate or have any questions- this can be done 1 week from the date the estimate is sent.
